Phoenix Centuri, 1980 There are two boards to the Phoenix boardset, the logic and the CPU board. OVG-15D (Logic board, 12 EPROMs) OVG-15U (CPU board, 8085 CPU, 8 pin DIP switch, 36 pin edge connector) The game is powered using these supply outputs: +5V DC @ 11 amps -5V DC @ 1 amp +12V DC @ 2 amps None of the diagrams nor the manual mention the current requirements of the game (that is, the amps required for each voltage output). But my game is powered by a Peter Chou power supply and the above currents were read directly off the power supply. Legend: CP = Control Panel (12 pin Molex connector, 4 rows of 3) CH = Coin Harness (24 pin Amp connector, 4 rows of 6, only 8 are used) CPU = CPU Board (36 pin edge connector) MV = Monitor Video (6 pin Molex connector, 2 rows of 3) PS = Power Supply According to CPU Harness Interconnect Diagram (364-10-1000): CPU Edge Connector: SOLDER SIDE | PARTS SIDE ------------------------------------|-------------------------------------- [to PS] Gnd | A | 1 | Gnd [to PS] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- [from CP1] Gnd | B | 2 | Gnd [to PS] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- [to MV1] COM | C | 3 | Gnd [to PS] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- Speaker | D | 4 | Speaker --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- [to PS] +12V | E | 5 | +12V [to PS] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- (Notch cut here) | F | 6 | (Notch cut here) --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- | H | 7 | --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- | J | 8 | +5V [from CH14, to CPU9 & CPUK] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- [to PS and from CPU8] +5V | K | 9 | +5V [to PS and from CPU8] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- | L | 10| --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- P1 Shield [from CP7] | M | 11| P2 Shield [from CP7] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- 2 Player Start [from CP3] | N | 12| R Coin [from CH2 and from CPU13] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- 1 Player Start [from CP2] | P | 13| Count [from CH13 and to CPU12] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- P1 Right [from CP4] | R | 14| P1 Fire [from CP6] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- P1 Left [from CP5] | S | 15| Red [to MV2] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- Blue [to MV4] | T | 16| P2 Right [from CP4] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- Green [to MV3] | U | 17| P2 Left [from CP5] --------------------------------|---|---|---------------------------------- ? My game is connected to an Electrohome G07 monitor. Sync goes to pin 5 on the monitor's MTA connector, and there is another short wire going from pin 5 to pin 6. A person I was conversing with said there was a handwritten negative sign next to the sync on his schematic, so it may be negative. Also, the letter O on the right side of the diagram between pins 19 and 20 is a circle. --Dave Holcomb
